Rating It fit perfect and was easy to install............plus it works. -
Don't side mount
Rating This antenna is ok for top mounting on a motorhome. But, it is useless for side mounting. The antenna mast swivels inside the base mount. There is no way to tighten it so that it won't swivel. Therefore, the wind swivels the antenna horizontally. -

What is the proper way to ground an antenna (AN519) on a travel trailer with a rubber roof?From Fred at 6/3/10 12:07 AMThe AN519 has a 122" ground wire attached to it. The ring terminal on this wire should be attached to the chassis with a screw and toothed-washer. The mounting location on the chassis should be free of paint, dirt, undercoating etc. to allow for proper ground contact. Paint or rubberized coating may be applied after the ground is made to deter corrosion.
